Awesome!!!!!!!!!!
Will you be votying in the municipal election on November 13? If so, who are you endorsing for mayor and who will you vote for as your councillor? Also, will you be recommending candidates for your friends?
Should the Sens trade Alfie? Should the Sens trade at all?

Hey Ben,
What the heck does the name of the Calgary Flames far team mean? The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights. Please explain.

1. I'm voting for Munter. He's young, popular with his ward, doesn't seem corrupted (yet anyway) and I don't trust Chiarelli as far as I can throw him. Why are details of the light rail project "secret"? Munter has filed an access to information request for details on the contract. And to be honest, I don't know anything about the councillors running for their positions, but I'll look into it before election time.
2. Sens SHOULD NOT trade Alfie. It's called a slump and every player goes through it. Sens fans are so use to their hot starts but this year is different, and maybe it's for the better.
Having said that, Sens still need a 2nd line centre. Kaigarodov is a bust and Fisher is working well with Neil and Vermette, but Alfie is left to dry with either Dean McCammond or Chris Kelly, good pluggers but not much else. Maybe there's not much cap room now, but come trade deadline maybe a move to get a 2nd line centre for Alfie to play with (how about Forsberg? Assuming Philly will still be in the toilet)would be helpful.

Ak-Sar-Ben Knights. Ak-Sar-Ben is Nebraska spelled backwards. They were a group in the early part of the 20th century that promoted hockey for Omaha. It's a nice tip of the hat to them, but just call them the Knights.
BTW, the team is offering a cowbell for kids with ticket purchase! "I gotta fever, and the prescription, is MORE COWBELL!"

Munter? The big spender? Why would you want to elect a socialist who will spend all of council's time on scent bans, peticide bans and a whole bunch of other bleeding heart issues while ignoring what Ottawa needs. Geez Ben, why don't you just punch me in the face instead? And not corrupted? This guy has been in bed with the Tories,Liberals and NDP all within the last year. He's a political opportunist and is by far more corrupt than any of the other candidates.
Oh, and good job on my question about the Flames. It's also because they have a group called the Knights of the Ak-Sar-Ben which is similar to a Knights of Columbus type oprganization. And the team's logo incorporates the logo of the Knights of the Ak-Sar-Ben.

I saw a poll the other day asking who you ould choose to build your NHL franchise around. The choices were Ovenchkin, Phaneuf and Crosby. Who would you pick and why?
I don't have problems with light rail so long as it's east-west, not north-south. I'm sold on the fact it's more environmentally sound and will be more cost effective as opposed to replacing and maintaining buses.
American's most dangerous city to live in, St. Louis, also has a baseball team that won the 2006 World Series. I know little about baseball but though the Tigers would take it.
I'd take Crosby hands down. I'm biased because he's Canadian, otherwise Ovechkin is a good choice too.
Crosby shows passion on the ice and his demeanour off the ice is top notch. He actually has an IQ over 200. Very well-spoken and a perfect ambassador for your team. And he's only 19 (20?). He's only getting better.
Gretzky said you can teach defence but you can't teach what skilled guys like Crosby have, their born with it. That's why I wouldn't pick Phaneuf, D are easier to find.

Your wife left you for a woman? That means she's gay, not you. Don't worry about it, it's not a reflection on you (BELIEVE ME, I KNOW!!!!). :)
Wrestlemania X-7. Their roster was at it's strongest, 5 matches easy that rated four or five stars, and you gotta love TLC matches. Wrestlemania III ranks a close second.
Phil Laak would kill Negreanu. Haven't you seen his hooded sweatshirt and his shadowboxing in between hands? He's warming up to kill someone. Negreanu is too much of a momma's boy.
I have found memories of getting a bottle of "Magic Bubbles" from the Blackburn Fun Fair, and making those bubbles until it was all gone.
Great! Thanks for your light rail answer. I have a follow-up. What do you propose for residents living in the South, Ottawa's fastest growing community/area? Those who live Orleans and Kanata have a great Transitway and the 417. What do those in the South have? Two crappy Transitway corrdiors. I suppose they have the 416 but that's so far West that anyone who takes it North will probably end up on the 417 anyway.
The residents living in the South had horrible transit and moved there knowing there was horrible transit already. I have no problems with increasing buses but expecting the best and newest form of transit while the others who have lived with the same cruddy buses just doesn't wash with this guy.
Isn't there more people living East-West than North-South anyway? I think it will serve more people, too.

Meh. I don't mind my drive in the morning so far. But I'd be happier if they widened the airport parkway.
They can set up all the trains they want but frankly, I don't want to sacrifice even a half hour of my time in switching. Money doesn't have much to do with it, but when it's *faster* for me to take whatever solution they'll provide, I'll switch.
On to the questions:

On to the questions:
What was the name of the cartoon on Saturday mornings that:
A) Had three panda's in it?
B) Had underwater creatures, and what was the name of the pet octopus?
C) What was the name of the two characters that hid in every episode of He-Man and She-Ra?
What as the name of the primetime, live action show that involved a guy who could turn into a car?
What was his sidekick's name?
What was the name of Michael Knight's nemesis doppelganger in Knight Rider?
Name both Hawk brothers from Airwolf...

Ben....anyone who's moved to the East or West "moved there knowing there was horrible transit already." It's not much of a point when I can throw it right back at you like that.
And don't worry Alex. Your ride will get longer and longer in the coming years.

Why are you asking me questions you already know the answer to?

3. Loo-Kee and Orko
4. Man into a car? Sidekick? No clue
5. Garth Knight
6. Stringfellow and St. John (or Sin-jin)
